Job Description

Role:

The Senior Site & Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading site execution and electrical works for solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion while coordinating with project managers, contractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise site execution of solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects. Manage electrical installation activities: DC/AC cabling, inverters, LT/HT panels, earthing, and lightning protection. Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, SLDs, BOQ, and safety standards. Coordinate with contractors, technicians, vendors, and site teams. Plan manpower, materials, and tools for smooth site execution. Monitor material consumption and coordinate with stores for timely supply. Conduct testing, commissioning, and synchronization with DISCOM. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site documentation. Ensure adherence to safety norms, statutory requirements, and quality standards. Support project handover, as-built drawings, and completion documents. Guide and mentor junior site and electrical engineers.

Requirements:

Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / EEE (Mechanical or Civil with strong electrical experience can be considered). 3-8 years of experience in solar EPC / electrical / power projects. Strong hands-on knowledge of rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations. Experience in testing, commissioning, and grid synchronization. Ability to handle multiple sites and lead teams independently.

Pay: ₹12,199.07 - ₹45,772.37 per month
