Senior Site Engineer

to lead and manage residential and commercial construction projects at our Coimbatore project sites. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and close coordination with architect, purchase, internal and management teams.

Role Summary

The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for end-to-end site execution, project planning, technical supervision, quality control, and coordination with architects, consultants, purchase, and accounts teams. The role demands a proactive leader who can independently manage site activities, ensure timely completion, and maintain quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Site Execution

Review and interpret architectural, structural, and service drawings Coordinate closely with the

Architect & Design Team

for drawings, clarifications, and approvals Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and BOQ Handle technical issues, site modifications, and execution challenges

Planning & Progress Monitoring

Prepare and manage site execution schedules Monitor daily progress and submit

DPRs

Identify delays and implement corrective actions

Material & Purchase Coordination

Coordinate with the

Purchase Team

for PRs, material planning, and timely delivery Verify material quality, quantity, and specifications at site Prepare and circulate

MRNs

to Purchase & Accounts teams

Labour & Resource Management

Supervise foremen, supervisors, subcontractors, and labour workforce Maintain labour attendance and productivity Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machinery

Quality Control & Safety

Implement quality control procedures and site inspections Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental norms Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe work practices

Documentation & Coordination

Maintain site records, drawings, reports, and as-built documentation Act as the main coordination point between

Architects, Consultants, Purchase, Accounts, and Project Manager

Attend site meetings and provide regular updates

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in

Civil Engineering

8-10 years

of experience in residential or building construction Strong knowledge of site execution, quality control, and coordination Proficient in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office

Leadership and problem-solving skills along with good communication skills
