Role Description

The

Senior Site Engineer

is responsible for managing and supervising on-site activities related to the construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of plant equipment. This role ensures that all work is executed in alignment with project plans, technical specifications, and timelines. The engineer will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and cross-disciplinary teams to maintain quality, safety, and operational efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of plant equipment as per approved drawings and specifications. Ensure adherence to project schedules and resolve site-level challenges proactively. Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, technicians, and other engineering disciplines. Verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and installations against project instructions and industry standards. Report deviations, delays, and corrective actions to project managers and senior stakeholders. Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all site activities comply with statutory and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

Diploma or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering 2-4 years of experience as a Site Engineer in industrial settings Strong understanding of construction and commissioning processes Leadership and team coordination abilities

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
