Position:

Senior Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Supervision

Oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Supervise subcontractors, labor, and site workers to maintain productivity and efficiency. Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available as per project schedules. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues. Provide technical support and resolve site-related challenges in coordination with project teams.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure all works are carried out per contract documents, method statements, and relevant construction regulations. Conduct quality checks and report non-conformance issues to the Project Manager. Ensure proper execution of reinforcement, formwork, concrete, masonry, finishing, and MEP coordination. Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, RFI logs, material approvals, and progress updates.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies and safety regulations on-site. Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for site teams. Identify and mitigate site risks to ensure a safe working environment.

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of the project. Attend site meetings and report progress, issues, and solutions to the Project Manager. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials. Assist in preparing site progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and as-built documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in site engineering, preferably in high-rise residential construction.

Technical Proficiency

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other construction software tools. Strong understanding of construction safety standards and local regulations.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to manage large teams of workers and coordinate with multiple contractors. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in high-rise buildings, villas, infrastructure, or industrial construction. Understanding of contract administration and variations. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site responsibilities

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?75,000.00 per month
