Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer (Civil) to oversee and manage our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical skills, leadership ability, and an in-depth understanding of civil engineering processes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and execute civil engineering projects including building, road, and infrastructure works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and due diligence for new projects. Supervise project stages: from concept design and tendering, to detailed engineering and site execution. Prepare, review, and manage project documents including BOQs, budgets, work schedules, and progress reports.? Ensure all works comply with relevant standards, regulations, and quality and safety requirements. Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff, providing technical guidance.? Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government agencies to facilitate project delivery. Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and adherence to specifications. Address technical issues, resolve site challenges, and ensure smooth coordination among project stakeholders. Regularly update management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree is an advantage. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent preferred. Minimum 8-10 years' experience in civil engineering, including 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role on complex projects. Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations. Proficiency in project management and civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, etc.). Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, documentation, and teams. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
