LOCATION: PALA

The Senior Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with high technical accuracy and efficiency. The role also involves guiding junior technicians, ensuring quality workmanship, and upholding safety and customer satisfaction standards within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles as per manufacturer guidelines. Supervise and support junior technicians in performing repair and service tasks. Conduct test drives to ensure proper functioning and repair quality. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues in vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, braking, etc.). Maintain records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Ensure adherence to company quality, safety, and environmental standards. Assist in warranty claims processing by providing accurate technical reports. Keep up to date with new automotive technologies, systems, and procedures through continuous training. Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor and Workshop Controller about vehicle status and additional repairs needed. Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work area in clean and proper conditions

Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems. Expertise in using diagnostic and repair equipment. Leadership and mentoring ability to guide junior staff. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication and teamwork skills. Problem-solving and time management abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma / ITI in Automobile Engineering or relevant technical qualification. Minimum 2-8 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with at least year in a senior or lead role. Certification from major automotive brands (preferred). Valid driver's license.
