Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM professional to lead and support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping processes. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), enabling real-time visibility into infrastructure and service dependencies across hybrid environments.Key Responsibilities:CMDB Management:Design, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).Ensure CI data integrity, compliance, and governance.Perform regular audits and health checks on CMDB data. Discovery & Service Mapping:Deploy and manage ServiceNow Discovery across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware).Develop and optimize Discovery Patterns, Probes, and Sensors.Implement and maintain Service Mapping to visualize service dependencies and infrastructure relationships.Configure MID Servers and ensure secure communication across environments.Integration & Automation:Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other APIs.Automate discovery and mapping workflows using JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python.Maintain credentials and API integrations for cloud providers and enterprise systems.Collaboration & Governance:Work with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure accurate CI population.Define and enforce CMDB governance policies.Provide training and support to internal teams on CMDB and ITOM best practices.Required Skills & Experience:4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules: Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB.Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including servers, databases, load balancers, and cloud-native components.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript).Familiarity with SNMP, SSH, WMI, REST, SOAP protocols.Solid grasp of CSDM and service dependency modeling.Preferred Certifications:ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - DiscoveryServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
