We are growing our digital footprint and are seeking an experienced SEO specialist to lead and scale our organic search efforts across multiple business verticals.

Role Summary

As the Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings and increase lead generation or conversions across the group's websites. You will mentor junior team members, coordinate with content, technical, and analytics teams, and report on SEO performance and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement SEO strategies aligned with business goals for each business vertical (HR, e-serve, real-estate, food, etc). Perform comprehensive keyword research, competitive analysis and identify growth opportunities. Optimize on-page elements (title tags, meta descriptions, headings, structured data, internal linking, UX signals) and content in collaboration with content teams. Coordinate with technical teams / developers to fix SEO issues (site architecture, crawlability, indexation, mobile-first, page speed, canonicalization, hreflang if/where needed). Monitor and analyse website performance using tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs/Moz) and prepare actionable insights. Build and manage high-quality link-building campaigns and outreach strategies. Track, report and communicate SEO KPIs (organic traffic, rankings, conversions, bounce rate, time on site, etc) and present to stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices; adjust strategy accordingly. Mentor and manage junior SEO/executive resources (if any) and coordinate cross-functional teams (content writers, developers, UX/designers, analytics). Collaborate with paid search/digital marketing teams to ensure an integrated approach (organic + paid + content) for maximum impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in SEO (ideally for multiple business verticals or complex websites). Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, technical SEO and on-page optimisation. Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs / SEMrush / Moz, Screaming Frog, etc. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and take action. Good understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) and how they affect SEO. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to prioritise tasks, run multiple campaigns in parallel, and deliver on deadlines. Up-to-date with current best practices and search engine updates.
Preferred/Bonus Skills

Experience in multilingual SEO, international SEO (if business expands). Experience with structured data / schema markup, rich snippets, voice search optimisation. Experience with content strategy and collaboration with content marketing teams. Some experience or interest in growth hacking, CRO (conversion rate optimisation). Familiarity with local SEO, especially relevant for real-estate, food verticals in India. Experience or willingness to work with affiliate or partner networks for SEO.
