Job Summary

We're looking for an SEO Specialist to grow our organic visibility, rankings, and qualified website traffic through strategic, technical, and content-focused SEO. In this role, you'll own SEO planning and execution across on-page, technical SEO, content optimization, and link building--using data to drive decisions and clearly communicate performance to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve rankings, organic traffic, and conversions. Conduct keyword research to identify valuable search terms, trends, and user intent opportunities. Analyze competitor strategies to uncover gaps and growth opportunities. Perform routine SEO audits (technical, on-page, and content) and prioritize recommendations by impact. Set measurable SEO goals and KPIs; track progress and optimize initiatives accordingly. Optimize on-page elements (meta titles/descriptions, headers, internal linking, URLs, images/alt text). Partner with content teams to produce SEO-friendly, high-quality content aligned to search intent. Identify content gaps and build content calendars/roadmaps aligned with SEO objectives. Improve technical SEO including site speed, mobile performance, crawlability, indexing, and site architecture. Implement schema markup to support rich results and enhanced SERP appearance. Monitor and resolve crawl errors, redirects, broken links, and other site health issues. Build and execute link-building campaigns, including outreach to relevant websites and influencers. Evaluate backlink quality, manage toxic links, and support disavow processes when needed. Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Create clear reports and dashboards showing SEO impact, insights, and next-step recommendations. Stay current on algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and emerging trends (AI, voice search, mobile-first indexing). Test new SEO tactics and tools to continuously improve performance.
Required Qualifications

Proven experience in SEO with measurable results (organic growth, rankings, traffic, and/or conversions). Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and content optimization best practices. Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as: Google Analytics, Google Search Console SEMrush and/or Ahrefs Screaming Frog PageSpeed Insights Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into actionable recommendations. Solid understanding of how search engines crawl, index, and rank websites. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and project/time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting and optimization. Experience with schema markup and structured data implementation. Experience with SEO reporting in Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio). Experience with content optimization tools (e.g., Yoast, Clearscope) and CMS platforms (especially WordPress). Experience supporting local SEO (citations, listings, local rank tracking).
Tools & Technologies You'll Use

SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, PageSpeed Insights, Looker Studio, keyword research and outreach tools.

Work Style / Collaboration

You'll work closely with content, development, and marketing teams to plan, execute, and refine SEO initiatives that support business growth.
