Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve rankings and organic traffic
Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis
Perform technical SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations
Optimize website content, metadata, URLs, and internal linking structure
Collaborate with content writers and developers to implement SEO best practices
Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
Track and report SEO KPIs including rankings, traffic, conversions, and bounce rate
Stay updated with algorithm changes and industry trends
Guide and support junior SEO team members (if applicable)
Plan and execute link-building strategies (guest posts, outreach, backlinks)
Recommend improvements to website architecture, Core Web Vitals, and page performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field
4-7 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or performance-driven roles preferred)
Proven track record of improving organic rankings and traffic
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website structure
Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or similar
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Preferred (Bonus Skills)
Experience with Local SEO and International SEO
Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and Page Speed Optimization
Basic knowledge of Google Tag Manager and schema markup
Understanding of paid marketing (Google Ads / Social Media) is a plus
