Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior SEO Manager to lead our SEO efforts and drive organic growth for our company and/or our diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned SEO expert with a proven track record of developing and executing successful SEO strategies that significantly increase organic traffic, rankings, and conversions. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on technical proficiency, strong analytical skills, and excellent leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:



SEO Strategy & Execution:

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals and client objectives, focusing on both short-term gains and long-term sustainable growth. Lead the entire SEO lifecycle, from in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to technical SEO audits, on-page optimization, off-page strategies (link building, digital PR), and content SEO. Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates (especially Google's), industry best practices, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI in search, GA4). Adapt strategies accordingly and educate the team. Manage and prioritize the SEO technical roadmap, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely implementation of recommendations (e.g., site speed, core web vitals, crawlability, indexing, structured data).

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of SEO specialists, executives, and content writers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance. Provide expert guidance and training on advanced SEO techniques, tools, and methodologies. Conduct performance reviews, set individual and team goals, and facilitate professional growth within the SEO department.

Analysis, Reporting & Insights:

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish robust tracking and analytics frameworks (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog). Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance regularly, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders (internal and external clients). Present complex SEO data and strategies in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize SEO performance and conversion rates.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with content, marketing, design, product, and sales teams to ensure SEO is integrated into all digital initiatives and overall business strategy. Work with content teams to define content strategy, ensure content is optimized for organic discovery, and oversee quality assurance of SEO-driven content. Manage client relationships (if applicable in an agency setting), understand client strategy, and oversee the successful execution of SEO campaigns.

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, Moz) are a plus.

Experience:

5+ years of progressive experience in Search Engine Optimization, with a significant portion in a digital agency or a fast-paced digital company environment.

Proven Track Record:

Demonstrable success in developing and executing SEO strategies that resulted in significant increases in organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions.

Technical SEO Expertise:

Deep understanding and hands-on experience with technical SEO elements, including site architecture, crawlability, indexing, core web vitals, structured data, redirects, and international SEO (Hreflang).

Content SEO Proficiency:

Strong understanding of content strategy, keyword research, on-page optimization, and the ability to guide content creators in developing SEO-friendly content.

Link Building & Off-page SEO:

Expertise in developing and implementing effective link-building strategies and managing backlink profiles.

Analytical Skills:

High proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog), strong data analysis skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Communication & Presentation Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex SEO concepts clearly to various stakeholders.

Leadership & Project Management:

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Adaptability:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and quickly adapt to changes in search engine algorithms and industry trends.

Detail-Oriented & Results-Driven:

Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on achieving measurable results.

Preferred Skills:



Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO. Experience with various Content Management Systems (CMS). Understanding of other digital marketing channels (PPC, social media, content marketing) and their synergy with SEO. Experience with AI in search and generative AI tools for SEO.

Pay: ?60,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
