Within this larger context, the Security Compliance team works closely with product and platform teams throughout the company to help ensure that Akamai systems meet both the safety and security compliance needs of our customers and the public.Partner with the bestCompliance Advisors are key contributors to Akamai's successful security audits. As a Sr. Compliance Advisor within Security Compliance, you will be responsible for leading analysis activities in support of interpreting compliance standards and describing to auditors and customers how Akamai's products and systems meet strict security requirements.As an InfoSec & Compliance Advisor Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Owning and driving security compliance initiatives to completion across APJ/EMEA.
• Maintaining knowledge of security standards, monitoring advancements, and ensuring compliance.
• Identifying systemic security gaps, assessing control effectiveness, and advising on risk exposure.
• Providing management with insights on control weaknesses and designing strategic improvements.
• Serving as an SME for audits, guiding risk management, and aligning cross-functional teams.
• Communicating effectively while developing trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:

• Have 10+ years of experience in IT security, risk management, or audit.
• Have 4+ years of expertise in industry compliance standards ( including one or more of: PCI, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, FedRAMP).
• Have good communication skills to engage senior executives effectively.
• Have negotiation skills to simplify complex regulations and align compliance with business goals.
• Have experience with compliance software, GRC tools, and audit management systems.
