We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our senior secondary faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics to students in grades 11 and 12, preparing them for board examinations and higher education. The role demands subject expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Mathematics to senior secondary classes (Grade 11 and 12), including core and elective subjects like Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, Probability, and Statistics.
Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE / ICSE / State Board / IB / Cambridge, as applicable).
Prepare students for board exams and competitive entrance tests (e.g., JEE, CUET).
Conduct periodic assessments, provide feedback, and maintain academic records.
Utilize modern teaching tools, technology, and digital platforms to enhance learning.
Identify learning gaps and provide additional support through remedial classes or mentoring.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects or initiatives.
Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences.
Uphold school policies, classroom discipline, and academic integrity.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
B.Ed. (mandatory for most boards).
Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
Familiarity with the latest curriculum guidelines (e.g., NEP 2020, CBSE/IB/State Board).
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using educational software, smart boards, and online teaching platforms (Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.).
Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
