Design and implement robust performance testing strategies for backend platforms and services, ensuring full alignment with non-functional requirements (NFRs). Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, automated load and stress test suites using Gatling and Java, targeting microservices and cloud-native deployments. Attain deep expertise in backend infrastructure, including APIs, databases, cloud environments such as AWS and GCP, and microservices architectures powered by containerization with Docker. Set up, scale, and manage testing environments leveraging Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters, including configuring horizontal pod autoscaling (HPA) to validate real-world scalability under load. Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, using these insights to identify and address bottlenecks, collaborating cross-functionally with DevOps, Backend Engineers, and SREs for optimal tuning. Prepare comprehensive documentation covering test strategies, scripts, findings, and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Contribute to ongoing capacity planning, infrastructure tuning, and recommendations for upgrades, with a key focus on evaluating, configuring, and validating autoscaling of containers and pods in modern cloud ecosystems.
