About the Role

M2P Fintech is looking for DevOps Platform Engineers whowill take a multifaceted approach to helping teams achieve technical excellenceby assessing challenges from both a technical and operational perspective. Youwill take the responsibility for designing and implementing infrastructure thatdelivers and runs software services and help internal teams to adopt a DevOpsmindset, breaking away from rigid, more traditional ways of working andpivoting to a more customer-focused and agile approach. As part of a crossfunctional team, you will be working in a fast-paced and agile work environmentdelivering quality and innovative solutions that have immediate businessimpact. You need to take the challenges and ownership that comes whiledeveloping a complex system. You should also be a team player with a knack forvisual design and utility.

What Will You Do in this Role

Launch projects through hands-onimplementation, evaluate and drive improvements to existing infrastructure. Help shape and build M2P cloudand infrastructure practice through collaboration with business development,marketing and capabilities development teams. Ensure and build the controlsand processes for continuous delivery of applications, considering all stagesof the process and its automations. Monitor and ensure thattechnical expectations of deliverables are consistently met on projects. Act as a leader on DevOps, cloudand infrastructure engineering. Adjust and suggest innovativesolutions to current constraints and business policies.

What You'll Need to be Successful in this Role

B.E or B.Tech in ComputerScience or any equivalent degree. Experience to design andarchitect enterprise and/or web-scale hosting platforms and can seamlesslyadminister application servers, web servers and databases. Deep understanding of cloud,virtualization and container (Kubernetes) platforms, infrastructure automation(Terraform) and application hosting technologies. Understand DevOps philosophy,Agile methods, Infrastructure as Code to your work and lead infrastructure andoperations with these approaches. Working history with servervirtualisation, IaaS and PaaS cloud, Infrastructure provisioning andconfiguration management tools. Should be able to write scriptsusing at least one scripting language and are comfortable with building Linuxand/or Windows servers systems. Experience with continuousintegration tools with different tech stacks, web or mobile. Should have previously workedwith monitoring systems for stress and performance testing with ObservabilityPattern: Distributed Tracing/ OpenTracing, Log Aggregation, Audit Logging,Exception Tracking, Health Check API, Application MetricS, Self-Healing/Multi-Cloud. Bonus points if you haveexperience with unit testing and automated testing tools. Multi-tasking, prioritizing/effective time management and eye for detail would be key skills required forthis role. Ability to work independentlywith minimal supervision and as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability tochanging priorities and deadlines. Previous experience in Bankingor Fintech or related field is a plus.
