We are seeking an experienced and passionate

History Teacher

for

ICSE Grades 8, 9, and 10

. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the ICSE curriculum, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students through effective and innovative teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Teach

History

to ICSE students of

Grades 8, 9, and 10

in accordance with the prescribed syllabus Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging, and interactive lessons Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment papers Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations as per ICSE guidelines Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports Prepare students thoroughly for

ICSE Board Examinations (Grade 10)

Use effective teaching aids, ICT tools, and real-life examples to enhance learning Participate in curriculum planning, staff meetings, and professional development programs Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns Support school activities, events, and academic initiatives
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

History

or

Social Sciences

B.Ed.

(Mandatory) Minimum 3-5

years of teaching experience

, preferably in ICSE schools Strong command of ICSE History syllabus and assessment patterns
Skills & Competencies

Excellent subject knowledge and teaching skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage classrooms effectively Student-centric and innovative teaching approach Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching Good written and verbal English communication
Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching

ICSE Grade 10 Board Classes

Postgraduate degree in History Experience with activity-based and inquiry-based learning
