About You and the role:
As a Senior Scheduling Specialist to be located at Chennai, India you will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules for all the phases of project. This also includes performing schedule analysis and providing feedback to the Project Steering Team, ensuring that project is on track. Additionally, you will be measuring progress and reporting on project status, keeping everyone informed and aligned. Working with multicultural teams across the globe will be a key aspect of the role, fostering collaboration and contributing to the project's success by closely monitoring timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains comprehensive integrated master project schedules including Front-end Loading, Detail Design, Procurement, Construction and Start-up/Commissioning Project Stages.
• Maintains schedule during the project life cycle monitoring progress and incorporating modifications where changes in the original scope occur or delays are encountered.
• Utilizes project cost estimates to resource load project schedules and gain alignment with estimated scope of work and the project schedule.
• Performs staffing density checks or staffing limitation checks to validate schedule durations.
• Performs critical path analysis to determine problem areas in regard to project schedule and resource overloads; alerting the project team to critical scheduling issues.
• Evaluates project deviations to assess schedule impact for proper decision making.
• Works with cost management to gain alignment when forecasting schedule completion dates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors / master's degree in science or related.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in scheduling.
• Production / Operations experience would be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work on projects at different geographies / locations role.
• Fluency in written and oral communication in English.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification (optional
