What You'll Do

Comprehensive Technical Expertise:

Utilize your expertise in SAP SD, MM, FI, and other SAP modules to deliver complete end-to-end solutions. Your work will span across configuration, development, testing, and functional support.

Adhere to Best Practices:

Follow professional engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, and testing. Maintain high-quality code standards through peer reviews, unit testing (ABAP Unit), and continuous integration practices.

Solution Development:

Develop scalable and maintainable solutions with ABAP and SAP Solutions that align with long-term business goals and customer needs. This includes transforming product strategy into actual product features and functionality. Leverage modern SAP tools including RAP, CDS, OData, and SAP Gateway for developing APIs and integrations.

Collaborative Work Environment:

Collaborate closely with your Product Owner and cross-functional teams to co-create, design, and implement features that add value across SAP's core platforms. Actively contribute to incident resolution and root cause analysis for production issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:

Engage in ongoing skill development to ensure your solutions remain aligned with the latest technology trends and SAP best practices.

Learnings and Innovation:

Stay updated with the latest SAP technology trends such as S/4HANA, BTP, and Fiori/UI5, and bring innovation into your daily work.

Who You'll Work With

You'll be part of the SAP Platform Unit within the Product Development & Engineering team. You'll work closely with Product Owners, Functional Consultants, Integration Experts, and fellow ABAP Developers to co-create impactful solutions. Collaborate within an agile framework (Scrum/Kanban) that promotes continuous delivery, feedback, and iteration.

Who You Are

We are looking for people with

Technical Skills:

Experience:

6-9 years in SAP software engineering, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies such as Kanban or SCRUM.

SAP BTP:

Experience with

SAP BTP RAP (RESTful ABAP)

and

SAP BTP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)

.

ABAP Development:

Strong expertise in object-oriented

ABAP for S/4 programming

and modern development techniques.

UI Development:

Familiarity with

Web Dynpro ABAP

,

NetWeaver

, and

SAP Fiori UI5

for user interface design.

Data Modeling:

Experience with

ABAP CDS

and

AMDP

for effective data modeling and database management.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Proficient in unit testing with

ABAP Unit

, conducting code reviews, and engaging in test automation and integration testing.

Integration:

Hands-on experience with

IDOCs

QRFC

SAP Cloud PI

for robust integration.

Incident Management:

Ability to quickly analyze and solve production incidents to maintain system performance.
