We are looking for a seasoned SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant with over 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP SD solutions that align with business requirements. As an immediate joiner, you will be expected to hit the ground running on active projects and support cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Configuration:
End-to-end configuration of SD functions including Enterprise Structure, Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, and Credit Management.
Business Process Mapping:
Lead requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional specifications.
Integration:
Solid understanding of integration points between SAP SD and other modules like MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and PP (Production Planning).
Customization:
Work closely with ABAP developers to design custom reports, enhancements (User Exits/BAdIs), and forms (Scripts/Smartforms).
Support & Maintenance:
Provide L2/L3 support for production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
Testing & Documentation:
Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Prepare comprehensive functional design documents and end-user manuals.
Technical Skills Required:
Expertise in
Pricing Procedures
, Condition Techniques, and Tax Determination.
Strong knowledge of
Availability Check (ATP)
and Transfer of Requirements (TOR).
Experience in handling
Intercompany Sales
and Stock Transport Orders (STO).
Proficiency in
IDOC/EDI
configuration and monitoring.
Knowledge of
S/4HANA
(specifically Business Partners and simplified pricing) is highly preferred.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years
of core SAP SD experience.
SAP Certification is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and clients.
