Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end SAP BODS data migration projects, designing robust and efficient job flows for data extraction, transformation, and loading across SAP systems and various databases. Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify legacy data sources, map SAP fields, and develop migration strategies. Create and optimize complex load programs for large volumes of master and transactional data. Demonstrate expertise in RDM/RDS (Rapid Data Migration) processes and implement best practices. Work with web services, real-time jobs, IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs to facilitate seamless data integration. Develop advanced data profiling, data validation, and cleansing scenarios to ensure data quality. Tune BODS jobs for high-volume, complex transformations involving multiple systems and data sources. Configure BODS components including job servers, repositories, and service design. Maintain comprehensive documentationaEUR"including mapping documents, load templates, transformation rules, and technical specifications. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing IDOCs, BAPIs, and data jobs. Reconcile loaded data against legacy systems and provide detailed analysis. Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating leadership in technical discussions. Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams. Support and mentor junior team members, and collaborate effectively amidst shifting project requirements and deadlines. Flexible to work across different shifts as per project demands and operational needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

4-12 years of extensive experience with SAP BODS, including designing, developing, and managing complex ETL processes. Proven track record in managing large data migration projects involving S/4HANA, ECC, and legacy systems. Deep expertise in SAP BODS Designer components, SQL, Oracle/SQL Server queries. Strong experience working with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, web services, and real-time jobs. Hands-on experience in RDM/RDS (Rapid Data Migration) methodologies. Ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize high-volume data load programs. Expertise in data profiling, data validation, and cleansing. Familiarity with SAP modules and their master/transaction data (FICO, SD, MM, PM, QM, etc.). Skilled in preparing detailed technical documentation and mapping documents. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience in debugging SAP IDOCs/BAPIs and orchestration of complex data workflows. * Knowledge of SAP Information Steward is an added advantage.
