Job Description

• 5+ years Basis experience, including activities such as SPS upgrades (application layer, kernel upgrades), system monitoring (tuning, troubleshooting performance issues and licensing.

• Basic Unix/Linux administration for day-to-day tasks.

• Insight to SAP Basis support Operational aspects, understanding/exp on P1, P2, P3 tickets and other Operational support tasks.

• Good knowledge in shell Scripting.

• Good understanding on Cloud based technologies like Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.

• Certification in latest technologies like SAP S/4HANA Conversion/Administration, OS-DB Migration will be an added advantage.

• Ability to prioritize and process daily support requests regarding access (i.e. adjusting ABAP, HANA, other SAP components, troubleshoot client side SAPGUI issues) at a high frequency.

• Interface with various Infrastructure teams in regards to Operating System maintenance, capacity and performance.

• Maintain RFC, SOAP, middleware platforms, SAProuter connections to SAP and supporting systems.

• Manage and maintain client side applications such as SAPGUI, Analysis for Office Suite (AO and EPM), HANA tools (HANA Studio, HANA client development and related tools), brower technologies (Chrome, Edge), Microsoft Office Suite.

• Manage HANA database performance monitoring, tracing, update patches and support packs.

• Manage SAP change and transport management administration for ABAP, HANA and BusinessObjects transports.

• Manage SAP application layer maintenance with implementation of SAP notes, support packs, enhancements and upgrades.

• Implement SAP related security patches, recommend/advise on security configurations as it pertains to SAP.

• Update/maintain SAP application licenses and certificates.

• Experience in SAP database copies/Refresh

• Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.

• SAP HANA Backup and Recovery Management, HANA Lifecycle Management.
