We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior SAP ABAP Specialist

with extensive experience in ABAP development to design, implement, and support SAP solutions that drive business efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in full-cycle implementations, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with functional and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

SAP ABAP Development & Implementation

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP solutions tailored to business requirements.
Participate in full-cycle SAP implementations, from requirement gathering to post-go-live support.
Build and maintain RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) to meet functional needs.

Support & Optimization

Provide L2/L3 support for ABAP-related issues in production and support environments.
Analyze and optimize existing ABAP programs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

Work closely with functional consultants (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of ABAP solutions.
Conduct technical reviews and adhere to SAP development standards and best practices.
Prepare technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to junior team members.

Advanced Technical Tasks

Develop and enhance SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms.
Implement and maintain BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.
Work with OData services and ABAP on HANA for modern SAP landscapes.
Support Fiori/UI5 integration initiatives where required.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
Participation in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects and 2 support projects.
Strong expertise in Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits.
Experience in SmartForms, SAPScripts, Adobe Forms, and Data Dictionary development.
Knowledge of RFCs, IDocs, Web Services, and ABAP performance tuning.
Understanding of SAP module integration (SD, MM, FI, PP).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP ABAP Certification (optional but desirable).
Experience in S/4HANA environments and ABAP on HANA.
Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 and OData service integration.
