As a sales manager, you are responsible for implementing all sales activities and maximizing business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility. The role involves implementing and executing all sales action plans in coordination with the management.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Arranging work rosters for staff and allocating tasks.
Managing budgets, meeting sales targets, and maximizing profits.
Liaising with office and tour operators for marketing purposes.
Handling mail, email, phone inquiries, and any customers' complaints.
Selling package holidays and individual travel elements, including flights, hotels, and car hire.
Writing reports for the head office.
Reviewing sales performance
Holding meetings to motivate the team to meet their sales targets.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's available services, lines of business, and pricing structures to assist sales management in particular selling circumstances as the need arises.
Education, Experience, Training and Special Skill
Passionate about travel and tourism
Excellent knowledge of latest tourism trends
Good understanding of different tourism offerings and options
Excellent Negotiation Skills
Proficiency in English
Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
Good sales and presentation skills

BA in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or similar relevant field
