Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and lead strategic client engagements within the IT services sector. This role will focus on key account development, consultative solution sales, team leadership, and expansion into new markets. The ideal candidate brings strong industry expertise, a proven sales track record, and the ability to influence at senior stakeholder levels.Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business growth.- Identify, engage, and convert high-value enterprise clients in the IT services / solutions domain.- Lead the full sales cycle including client prospecting, presentations, solution proposal, negotiation, and closure.- Build, maintain, and expand long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.- Work closely with technical, delivery, and leadership teams to develop tailored client solutions.- Lead, mentor, and guide junior sales/business development team members.- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technology needs to identify new opportunities.- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, business reports, and performance insights to management.- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms.Required Skills & Qualifications- Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in Sales / Business Development within the IT industry.- Demonstrated success in selling IT services / SaaS / consulting / digital solutions to mid-market or enterprise clients.- Strong ability to engage with CXOs, Directors, and senior decision-makers.- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client pain points and propose strategic solutions.- Experience working with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.- Self-motivated, strategic thinker, and performance-driven.Preferred Qualifications- Experience in Cybersecurity / Cloud / Software Development / Managed IT Services sales (as relevant to your company).- Prior experience leading or mentoring sales teams.- MBA / PG in Marketing, Business, or Management (preferred but not mandatory).Key Competencies- Strategic Sales Planning- Enterprise Client Handling- Leadership & Team Management- Negotiation & Influence- Relationship Building- Revenue Ownership & Accountability (ref:updazz.com)
