Role Overview
We are looking for a
high-performing, data-driven, and polished Sales Enthusiast
to drive B2B growth at Hemp Fabric Lab. This role owns
end-to-end sales for a ?5+ crore business
, combining strong relationship-building with rigorous financial and sales analysis.
This person will be equally comfortable
closing deals
and
working deep in Excel
, tracking conversions, forecasting revenue, analysing margins, and optimising performance.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Ownership
Own and grow B2B revenue across fabrics, yarns, and textile solutions.
Manage a business currently valued at
?5+ crore
, with aggressive growth targets.
Drive the complete sales cycle: inquiry ? sampling ? conversion ? repeat orders
Build and manage high-value relationships with designers, brands, buying houses, retailers, and textile companies.
Online & Offline Sales Channels
Handle
B2B sales
via emails, WhatsApp, calls, field visits, client meetings, exhibitions, industry networking and CRM tools.
Represent HFL confidently in negotiations, presentations, and commercial discussions.
Excel, Data & Commercial Analysis (Critical)
Be
extremely strong in Excel

Track and analyse:
Lead funnel & conversion rates
Revenue by client, category, and channel
Gross margins, discounts, and deal profitability
Sales forecasts vs actuals
Repeat purchase and customer lifetime value
Build and maintain sales trackers, dashboards, and reports.
Work closely with the Business Head on pricing strategy, margin optimisation, and forecasting.
Client Experience & Conversion Excellence
Deliver a premium, consultative sales experience aligned with HFL's brand.
Translate client requirements into commercially viable fabric solutions.
Maintain a
high conversion rate
and disciplined follow-up process.
Own negotiations, closures, and key account management.
Team Management
Manage and mentor one Sales Executive.
Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure CRM and data hygiene
Ensure timely follow-ups, reporting, and pipeline visibility
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with operations, inventory, and logistics to ensure smooth execution.
Flag risks related to stock, margins, or delivery timelines.
Share structured market insights and customer feedback with leadership.
Who We're Looking For
Experience
3-4+ years of proven B2B sales experience
, preferably in textiles, fabrics, fashion, or allied industries.
Strong track record of
high conversion rates
and revenue ownership.
Experience handling large accounts, repeat business, and long sales cycles.
Excel & Analytical Skills (Must-Have)
Advanced Excel proficiency
is mandatory
(Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, dashboards, forecasting models).
Strong comfort with numbers, margins, and commercial decision-making.
Ability to translate data into actionable sales strategies.
