We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager - Cast Film to expand business in hygiene, packaging, lamination, and industrial film markets. The ideal candidate must have strong technical understanding of cast film properties, customer application requirements, and experience in selling B2B materials to converters, hygiene product manufacturers, and packaging companies.
The person will be responsible for generating sales, developing new customers, managing existing accounts, forecasting demand, and ensuring long-term profitable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Development & Customer Acquisition
Identify new customers in segments such as:
Hygiene products (sanitary pads, diapers, wipes)
Flexible packaging & laminators
Industrial packaging
Specialty films
Develop a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, cold calling, and industry networking.
Expand business in domestic and export markets (if applicable).
Customer Relationship & Account Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Understand customer film requirements (GSM, thickness, tensile, COF, sealing, opacity, etc.) and provide suitable product recommendations.
Manage pricing, negotiations, and contract closures.
Visit customer plants regularly to understand applications and provide technical support.
Sales Planning & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Prepare sales forecasts based on market demand and customer schedules.
Track competitor activities (pricing, new products, capacity changes).
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production & logistics for timely dispatch.
Technical Sales & Application Support
Explain product features, performance parameters, and advantages to customers.
Work with the production and quality teams to resolve customer complaints.
Coordinate product trials at customer sites and ensure successful approval.
Provide feedback to R&D for new product development opportunities.
Commercial Management
Prepare quotations, technical data sheets, and pricing proposals.
Ensure payment collection within credit timelines.
Handle documentation for dispatches, purchase orders, and contracts.
Maintain proper sales records and daily visit reports.
Reports & MIS
Maintain customer database, sales funnel, and follow-up records.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
Track conversion ratios, enquiry status, and order closures.
