The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling insurance products across Maharashtra. The role involves achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, acquiring new customers, and ensuring excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales targets for insurance products (life, general, health, motor, etc.).
Generate leads through field visits, referrals, agents, and tie-ups.
Conduct customer meetings, explain policy benefits, and close sales.
Ensure customer service for queries, claims, and renewals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, partners, and customers.
Maintain product knowledge and ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines.
Submit sales reports and coordinate with internal teams for smooth operations.
Travel extensively within Maharashtra for customer acquisition and retention.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in any discipline (Business / Commerce / Finance / Insurance preferred).
3-5 years of field sales experience in insurance or financial services.
Strong communication skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
Good negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Familiar with MS Office and insurance portals.
Own vehicle and valid driving license preferred; willingness to travel extensively.
