JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. CLEANLINESS
a. SECTION:
No cartons/ boxes or carton scraps lying on selling floor in your section
No loose packing, barcodes lying on floor in your section
Ensure your section floor is clean (broomed and mopped) always
In case of toilets in your section, ensure they are clean & dry always
Ensure cleaning of Stools, chair, Sofa etc
Help and teach Asst. Sales executives to perform these duties better
b. RACKS / SHELVES:
Shelves must not be kept empty at any given point
Check if any rack / shelf of the section is too messy or arranging required
Ensure Dusting of Display racks and products is done at the time of Opening (10:00 AM)

2. INVENTORY
a. PRODUCT DISPLAY:
Ensure all the racks are stacked and the products are displayed as per standards
Inventory Refilling to be done as soon as the product is sold. Ensure no rack/shelf is empty at any time.
b. INVENTORY INWARD:
Ensure Inventory is displayed as soon as the Inward is done (avoid in high rush hrs and selling time)
Damaged products sent back to warehouse (after approval from SM)
c. INVENTORY OUTWARD
Goods are being removed, as per return list
Ensure Inventory Return Boxes of your section are packed before 2PM on weekdays (Avoid Inventory Return on Weekends and high rush hours)
3. DISCIPLINE
a. GROOMING
Greet every customer entering your section
Smile on your face
Uniform must be pressed & stain-free / Shoes must be polished
Hair must be neatly combed. Nails must be cut.

No use of Mobile
No eating on the floor
No consumption of tobacco/ chewing gum/cigarette or any other intoxicants during the working hours

b. ATTENDANCE
You must be present in your section during your duty hours
In case of lunch hours, you must leave the section only if a substitute is present
Discipline is to be maintained (Eg: Gossiping, etc to be strictly avoided)
c. AUTHORITY (DO's and DONT's)
Do not share any personal mobile no/info with customers

4. SALES
a. OPENING:
Welcome the customers with a smile and greet them (Good Morning/ Afternoon/ Evening)
Find out the customer's needs (Try to find out the budget politely. Do not ask directly)
Recommend, select and help locate the right goods.

b. PRESENTING:
Describe product's features and benefits properly to customer
Explain Scheme details properly to customer (if applicable)
Answer customer queries regarding the products
Provide information about FABing (Features, Advantages & Benefits) of the Product
Place the goods in Shopping Basket.
Help and teach Asst. Sales executives to perform these duties better
c. UNDERSTANDING:
Ask the customer if any other requirements (CROSS SELL)
If customer wants to buy other product, guide the customer to the respective section
If product not available: note down the requirement in "Customer Feedback Book"
d. CLOSING:
If customer is going return in case of, Non-Availability: Request to place order of the requirement (after confirmation from Store Manager)
In case of VIP customer/ Big Buyer: Personally, be with the customer & carry shopping basket until the cash counter.
If the customer insists for additional discounts: Politely say that we follow "No discount, Reasonable price policy"
Thank the customer & request him to Visit again

Any Lost & Found items in your section: submit at cash counter
