As a Sales Representative at ShipPerfecto, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving the sales process to meet revenue targets. Your role will involve a mix of lead generation, client meetings, presentations, and negotiations. We're looking for someone passionate about sales with a deep understanding of shipping and logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation techniques.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
Deliver engaging presentations of ShipPerfecto's products and services to prospective clients and negotiate contracts to close sales.
Sales Targets:
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide insights for business growth.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and sales pipeline updates using CRM software.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the shipping, logistics, or supply chain industry.
Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to build rapport and foster relationships with clients.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of shipping logistics, supply chain management, or freight forwarding is a plus.
