Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry (e.g., contractors, builders, developers, architects). Promote and sell construction materials/products (e.g., cement, steel, tiles, HVAC systems, tools, equipment) to meet and exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Conduct site visits and provide technical product demonstrations or consultations. Collaborate with project and technical teams to ensure client requirements are met. Prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales agreements. Track project pipelines and proactively follow up on tenders and bids. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts in CRM systems. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to stay ahead in the market.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the construction or building materials industry. Solid understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and procurement practices. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently to project sites or client locations.
