Drive regional retail sales growth by developing, managing, and expanding the retail business value chain. The candidate will play a pivotal role in activating channel partners, executing localized promotional campaigns, and achieving aggressive sales targets with a self-driven and entrepreneurial approach.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion: Identify and onboard retailers, dealers, and influencers in the North East to strengthen market penetration.
Sales Achievement: Ensure monthly and quarterly sales target achievement through focused product movement and demand creation.
Promotional Campaigns: Planning and roll out region-specific promotional activities. Develop product PUSH/PULL initiatives in tandem with marketing.
Channel Development: Building long-term relationships with channel partners, ensuring loyalty and timely feedback loops.
Competitor Analysis: Keep track of market movements and competitor activities to enable strategic agility.
Reporting & Coordination: Maintain accurate sales records and provide weekly reports to management for review and planning.
Key Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in construction chemicals or building materials.
Proven success in dealer/channel management and regional retail growth.
Strong grasp of promotional tactics and local campaign management.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and adept at working with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
Willingness to travel extensively across the North East region.
