A Senior Sales Engineer provides deep technical expertise during the sales cycle to drive revenue growth by architecting and presenting customized solutions, acting as a bridge between technical development and customer needs. Key responsibilities include understanding client requirements, developing technical proposals, leading pre-sales efforts, collaborating with sales and engineering teams, and contributing to sales strategy. This role requires strong communication, technical knowledge, and skills in negotiation and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise:

Provide in-depth technical knowledge and support to the sales team, acting as the go-to technical expert for clients and prospects.

Customer Engagement:

Understand customer business challenges and technical requirements to tailor solutions.

Solution Architecture & Presentation:

Design and present complex technical solutions, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Sales Collaboration:

Work closely with sales representatives to build territory sales plans, meet revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Proposal & Quoting:

Develop and submit detailed technical proposals and cost estimates based on customer specifications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with engineering, product, production, and marketing teams to provide consistent product information and support.

Market & Product Feedback:

Provide feedback on product roadmaps and market trends based on customer interactions and competitive analysis.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:

Strong background in engineering or a related technical field (like computer science) with several years of relevant professional experience.

Communication:

Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to effectively communicate complex technical subjects to diverse audiences.

Presentation & Public Speaking:

Ability to deliver compelling presentations and demos to persuade and inform clients.

Negotiation:

Skill in negotiating and resolving conflicts to close deals and build strong client relationships.

CRM & Sales Tools:

Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools to manage activities and track progress.
