About the role

As the Senior Sales Engineer - Modernization, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be reporting to the Sales Manager, Modernization and responsible in driving sales by actively engaging with prospects for a solution-based offering while promoting HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) products and services to prospective customers. This role combines knowledge of HVAC systems with a strong sales focus to effectively identify, engage, and assist in closing deals. This is crucial role in meeting regional sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Overall, the role demands a highly capable individual who can lead and drive success through effective team sales management, financial acumen, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Sales Engineer - Modernization, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for:

  • Utilizing knowledge of HVAC systems to provide solution-based offerings to customers.
  • Advise and guide on the appropriate HVAC solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Present technical information and conduct product demonstrations effectively to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify sales opportunities.
  • Prepare competitive quotations and proposals to secure new deals.
  • Focus on educating customers on energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
  • Collaborate to develop effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets for region.
  • Ensure profitability by considering cost factors and pricing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and after-sales service.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales progress and achievements.
  • Maintain a dotted reporting line to the Country Sales Manager for effective coordination and communication between customer segments.
  • Cultivate strong and enduring relationships with our clients, emphasizing trust, respect, and the delivery of high-quality service.
  • Proactively identify and pursue revenue opportunities within our existing client base, ensuring achievement of budgeted revenue and margin targets.
  • Develop and implement a proactive approach to service delivery, anticipating client needs and surpassing expectations.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to facilitate productive collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Thrive in a team environment, actively contributing to the team\'s success and fostering a cooperative atmosphere.
  • Engage in and support all team-building activities, including training sessions, promotions, and cross-functional/departmental initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
We are looking for people who are sales driven and has proven track record in solution selling within the HVAC industry. If this is you, get in touch.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC Chiller field and sales
  • Has the knowledge of DDC HVAC control systems and functions.
  • Has bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering
  • Experience in financial management for Quoting and estimation experience and project management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Team oriented and has strong client problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision but in a structured environment.
  • Results oriented and attention to detail.
