About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Sales Engineer - Mining Segment

to drive sales and business growth in India's mining sector. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with major mining companies and government organizations in India, along with strong technical expertise and proven client management skills.

Candidates with prior exposure to

coal sector leaders such as Coal India Limited or similar organizations

will be considered a strong advantage.

This role demands a results-oriented professional who can build lasting customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and convert them into sustainable contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining and minerals sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, procurement teams, and project heads. Manage the complete sales cycle - from lead generation and proposals to presentations, technical discussions, pricing, and contract closure. Partner with technical and R&D teams to design and deliver customized solutions for mining operations. Monitor industry trends, government policies, and competitive activities to guide sales strategy. Ensure customer satisfaction through post-sales support and effective account management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

8-10 years of sales/business development experience in the

mining sector

. Strong understanding of mining processes, equipment, and related technologies/products. Solid experience engaging with government procurement and long-cycle project sales. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mining/Mechanical/Industrial preferred). Willingness to travel extensively within India.
