Senior Sales Associate
to play a key role in driving growth and strengthening our presence at the ground level.
Role Summary
As a
Senior Sales Associate
, you will be responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, mentoring junior sales staff, managing retailer and distributor relationships, and ensuring achievement of sales targets in your assigned region. You'll serve as a vital link between the field team and regional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage
secondary sales and retail execution
across the designated territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with
retailers, distributors, and stockists
Support the appointment and onboarding of
new channel partners
Guide and supervise
Sales Associates/Field Executives
to achieve beat efficiency
Ensure proper
product placement, visibility, and promotional execution
at stores
Monitor and report on
market trends, competitor activity, and trade feedback
Ensure timely collections and smooth execution of trade schemes
Submit regular
reports and insights
to the Area Sales Officer or Regional Manager
Ideal Candidate Profile
3-6 years
of experience in FMCG field sales (beverages, snacks, or hygiene categories preferred)
Proven track record in
achieving sales targets and managing retail distribution
Strong
relationship management
and
negotiation
skills
Experience in
guiding junior team members
and managing sales beats
Good understanding of
territory planning
, route management, and sales KPIs
Comfortable with fieldwork and frequent market visits
Basic proficiency in
Excel
and mobile-based sales reporting tools
