The Senior Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting daily sales operations, assisting customers, maintaining store standards, and guiding junior staff. The role ensures smooth store functioning while achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with product inquiries and purchases. Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer complaints professionally. Maintain product knowledge to recommend suitable items to customers. Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory management, and report shortages. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing. Process billing, handle cash/UPI/card payments, and maintain accurate records. Assist in achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales targets. Guide and support Junior Sales Assistants in daily tasks. Coordinate with the store manager on sales activities and store operations. Prepare daily sales reports and update relevant documents. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Manage product displays, promotions, and seasonal arrangements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales or retail (minimum 2-3 years preferred). Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to guide and support junior staff. Good product knowledge and willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of billing software and POS systems. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
