Here is an opportunity to Conduct research involving latest analytics and huge amount of data which includes defining study objectives and design including the methods, limitations and conclusions that result in peer-reviewed publications. We are looking for an experienced professional in the area of Real World Evidence Observational Study, As a member of RWE Team, you will play a key role in the scientific and methodological aspects of all RWE projects including but not limited to Conducting observational data analyses involving new creative approaches and oversee data management and statistical programming activities as well as providing guidance for other members of the team .
Job Purpose

The Senior Real World Evidence (RWE) Research Analyst is responsible for the scientific and methodological aspects of all observational database analytics and RWE projects with minimal supervision.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Produce analytic deliverables, including full study reports for RWE projects/observational database analyses. Support project management by coordinating project activities and timelines as well as issue management.
• Accountable for the development of protocols, statistical analysis plans and analysis specifications for observational database analyses aligned with Real World Evidence (RWE) generation objectives across the organization with no supervision.
• Develop project timelines together with the RWE Data Scientists.
• Appropriately track communications with the customer as well as project related decisions taken.
• Conduct project feasibility assessments using analytic tools. Conduct observational data analyses and oversee data management and statistical programming activities.
• Independently conduct data quality reviews with detailed documentation.
• Present research and analysis results to customers and stakeholders.
• Produce analysis datasets, listings, tables, and figures for research projects, according to specifications, while maintaining documentation and complying with pre-defined project / study standards.
• Seek out opportunities for the development of new RWE services and new customers within Novartis.
• Contribute to the development of department-level standards, tools and templates.
• Collaborate with RWE Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive quality and accuracy of deliverables; constant improvements on systems, processes and quality matrices that add value to existing solutions.
• Support and contribute to standardization techniques in order to increase efficiency in deliverables.
• Help on-board new team members, as appropriate, and complete special projects as assigned.
• Performance will be measured annually based on specific objectives. These objectives are set in conjunction with the associate\xe2\x80\x99s manager.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree plus 5+ years conducting research in the pharma industry, contract research organization, or academic institute; or experience in a closely related discipline within the pharma industry (e.g., clinical research, statistics, epidemiology, pricing).
Or
Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a field such as epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, economics or similar. And 3+ years of experience conducting research in the pharma industry, contract research organization, or academic institute; or experience in a closely related discipline within the pharma industry.
Or
PhD in a field such as epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, economics or similar. And 2+ years of experience conducting research in the pharma industry, contract research organization, or academic institute; or experience in a closely related discipline within the pharma industry.
English fluent (oral and written)

• Track record of operational excellence in field of analytics (strong programming skills in SAS, and other data management and statistical applications; programming knowledge in either R, STATA, or WinBUGs is a plus).
• Experience with data from electronic medical records, registry databases, and external insurance claims databases for health outcomes research. Additional experience in epidemiology, market research, or clinical research is a plus. Experience in the application of statistical methods to the analysis of observational data. Expert in applied statistics. Extensive experience in the application of statistical methods for analysis of observational data including propensity scores, sensitivity analyses, etc. is a plus.
• Understanding of organizational processes, including experience working cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders.
• Open to experimentation and taking smart risks to support creative thinking that leads to practical solutions to healthcare and business challenges.
• Holds a high standard on quality excellence. Continuously seeking to enhancing standards, technology through expansion of knowledge and training.
• Support teamwork to swiftly and efficiently deliver innovative new products to patients and healthcare providers.
• Experienced in data visualization.
• Excellent project management skills: can prioritize multiple tasks and goals to ensure timely completion. Confident and competent when interacting with internal stakeholders.
