Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the technical architecture of our platform, contributing across the stack with a focus on both the back end and front end. You will also lead efforts in integrating large language models (LLMs) into our systems, helping drive innovation using cutting-edge AI technologies.

Key Accountabilities

? Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using

Ruby on Rails

, especially in support of AI-driven features and APIs.

? Develop rich, responsive front-end interfaces using

React

and

JavaScript

.

? Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.

? Champion clean code practices, automated testing, and continuous delivery pipelines.

? Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications and systems.

Skills/Qualifications

Required Qualifications

? 5+ years of experience in software development, with senior-level experience in full-stack development.

? Proficiency with

Ruby on Rails

and experience with API design and backend systems.

? Strong front-end development skills using

React

and

JavaScript

.

? Understanding of modern software architecture and design patterns.

? Expertise in writing SQL and performing query optimization.

? Direct experience with Scenic and Blazer gems.

? Experience with Sidekiq for scheduling, concurrency control, and configuring retries.

? Knowledge of parsing YAML metadata blocks.

? Experience with S3 for managing large artifacts.

? Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.

? Experience implementing structured logging and metrics for monitoring tools.

? Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.

? Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

? Experience working with vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

? Familiarity with cloud environments

? Contributions to open-source LLM or AI-related projects.
