Job Summary:

We are looking for a

Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

with a strong foundation in

SQL

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building scalable web applications, optimizing SQL queries, and leading development initiatives. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with best practices.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schema.

Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other developers to define and implement new features. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Ensure performance, security, and responsiveness of applications. Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and architecture decisions.
Work with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

Required Skills:

7+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
Strong command of

SQL

(PostgreSQL or MySQL preferred) - query optimization, indexing, data modeling.

Solid understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, and software design patterns.
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React is a plus).

Proficient with Git and version control tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: ?1,500,000.00 - ?2,500,000.00 per year
