Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesRobotics System Design & Integration

Lead the development and implementation of robotic systems (industrial arms, mobile robots, cobots, etc.). Design end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), fixtures, and automation modules. Integrate robotics with PLCs, vision systems, conveyors, sensors, and safety hardware.

Software Development

Develop and optimize robot programs (e.g., ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, UR, Yaskawa). Create reliable control algorithms and motion-planning routines. Implement system diagnostics, monitoring tools, and performance tuning.

Project Leadership

Oversee full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning. Lead on-site installation, testing, and troubleshooting. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams.

Technical Innovation

Research new robotics technologies and automation methodologies. Propose improvements to enhance throughput, safety, and scalability. Contribute to product roadmapping and solution architecture.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare design documents, test procedures, and system validation reports. Ensure compliance with safety standards (ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06, CE, etc.). Support customer training and handover documentation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

7+ years of experience

in robotics or industrial automation engineering. Expertise with

one or more robotic platforms

: ABB, KUKA, FANUC, UR, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, Kawasaki, etc. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as

Python, C/C++, ROS, RAPID, KRL, URScript

, etc. Experience integrating

vision systems

(Cognex, Keyence, SICK, Basler). Thorough understanding of

PLC programming

(Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, ProfiNet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP). Strong knowledge of safety standards and risk assessment.
