About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant. You will be a part of Information Delivery & Analytics Services Team within Market and Counterparty Risk Management (MCRM) which is responsible developing and automation of existing applications and processes. You will interact closely with multiple business partners including the Market Risk Officers, Counterparty Credit Risk, and Technology teams.

In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Overall, 4+ years of experience with developing Python based automation solutions. Experience in using different data manipulation python libraries like pandas & NumPy. Understanding of Python OOPS concepts, multithreading, Tableau Server Client(TSC) API Experience with at least one development framework - Django, flask etc. Strong technical skills and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Experience in performing root cause analysis Flexibility with changing priorities Knowledge of Capital markets and understanding of Market & Counterparty Risk

Job Expectations:

Design comprehensive python solutions working closely with development team and stakeholders Identify areas of optimization in existing processes and implementation Take initiatives to find alternatives, resolve issues, apply modifications, and generate innovative solutions Self-driven being able to work independently and take the project to completion with minimum supervision
