. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing ventilators, non-invasive respiratory devices, and conducting pulmonary diagnostic procedures, especially in ICU or critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy and manage ventilators and oxygen therapy equipment.
Perform diagnostic procedures including ABG analysis, spirometry, and pulmonary function tests.
Monitor patient respiratory status and collaborate with physicians for treatment planning.
Provide emergency respiratory support during code blue and ICU calls.
Assist in procedures like bronchoscopy and endotracheal suctioning.
Maintain respiratory equipment hygiene and calibration standards.
Train and guide junior staff and nursing team on respiratory protocols.
Ensure strict compliance with hospital safety and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications:
Diploma / B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy or related allied health qualification.
Minimum
5 years of relevant experience
in a hospital or ICU setup.
Sound knowledge of ventilator settings, ABG interpretation, and respiratory emergency care.
BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
