Clinical Duties:
Provide direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and intensive care settings.
Perform detailed clinical assessments and formulate treatment plans.
Conduct and supervise minor procedures (lumbar puncture, IV cannulation, etc.).
Ensure timely documentation and upkeep of patient records.
Liaise with consultants for complex cases and escalate when necessary.
Academic & Teaching:
Participate in clinical teaching for interns and junior residents.
Attend and present in academic sessions such as case discussions, journal clubs, and seminars.
Contribute to the department's research and quality improvement initiatives.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain appropriate logs, discharge summaries, and departmental reports.
Adhere to hospital protocols and infection control policies.
Participate in audits, morbidity/mortality meetings, and medical board reviews.
Qualification & Experience:
MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the State Medical Council / MCI/NMC
Prior residency or experience in a teaching hospital is plus
