Overview:
Location: ChennaiSupport the development of fermentation- based polymers/proteins for KAQ.
Be a part of Global R&D team and work on multiple R&D Projects.
Contribute to writing research reports and presentations.
Responsibilities:
Design experiments under guidance to optimize fermentation.
Conduct shake flask fermentation experiments in the lab to optimize conditions.
Coordinate with fermentation facilities to transfer methods for scale up.
Work with fermentation facility to scale up fermentation - 100L, 250L, 1500L, 10KL and further optimization.
Conduct microbiological and biochemical tests to characterize fermented products.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and present at monthly R&D meetings.
Run multiple fermentation-based projects under the guidance of Project Lead.
Protect all confidential information such as formulations, trade secrets and other commercially sensitive information.
Carry out research activities with high scientific and personal integrity and also by following good scientific and laboratory practices.
Conduct all research activities with strict adherence to the health and safety policies of the company.
Qualifications:
Master's in microbiology/biotechnology/ Industrial biotechnology/ Bio process Technology with experience in Industrial fermentation is preferred (1-2 years)
