Job Purpose (1-2 Lines): To provide Molecular biology support for discovery programs.
Must Have Technical Skills:
xc2xb7 Design and perform Cloning to support Discovery programs for Cell line engineering and protein generation
xc2xb7 A thorough understanding of various expression vectors, tags and promoters to design vectors for screening assays
xc2xb7 Expertise in recombinant DNA techniques like PCR, RT-PCR, etc.
xc2xb7 Experience with Ligation based cloning, recombination-based cloning, shRNA cloning, Sub cloning, Long range PCR
xc2xb7 Site directed mutagenesis
xc2xb7 Sanger sequence data analysis
xc2xb7 Well versed in softwares like Vector NTI/Geneious/ SnapGene
xc2xb7 Diligent documentation skills and experience writing detailed E-Lab/Lab Notebooks
xc2xb7 Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
Desirable
xc2xb7 Reagent inventory maintenance
xc2xb7 Experience with liquid handlers
xc2xb7 High throughput cloning techniques
xc2xb7 NGS library Prep
Educational Qualifications:
M.Sc/M.Tech in Biotechnology/Biology/Molecular Biology/2-4 years of research experience
Behavioral Skills

• A proactive team player.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision; comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
• Good oral and written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
