Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Job Purpose (1-2 Lines): To provide Molecular biology support for discovery programs.Must Have Technical Skills:xc2xb7 Design and perform Cloning to support Discovery programs for Cell line engineering and protein generationxc2xb7 A thorough understanding of various expression vectors, tags and promoters to design vectors for screening assaysxc2xb7 Expertise in recombinant DNA techniques like PCR, RT-PCR, etc.xc2xb7 Experience with Ligation based cloning, recombination-based cloning, shRNA cloning, Sub cloning, Long range PCRxc2xb7 Site directed mutagenesisxc2xb7 Sanger sequence data analysisxc2xb7 Well versed in softwares like Vector NTI/Geneious/ SnapGenexc2xb7 Diligent documentation skills and experience writing detailed E-Lab/Lab Notebooksxc2xb7 Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practicesDesirablexc2xb7 Reagent inventory maintenancexc2xb7 Experience with liquid handlersxc2xb7 High throughput cloning techniquesxc2xb7 NGS library PrepEducational Qualifications:M.Sc/M.Tech in Biotechnology/Biology/Molecular Biology/2-4 years of research experienceBehavioral Skills
