Job Title:
Senior Research Assistant, Coating Additives
Summary: Technologist will work closely with product development scientists to evaluate new silicone/silane-based additives for Architectural coatings in model formulations and generate test results to confirm performance in target applications. He/she will be a part of iterative product development cycle by elucidating structure-property correlation.
Responsibilities Include:

• Testing performance of new additive for architectural coatings market and understand structure-property relationship to optimize prototypes.
• Generate high quality data package for customer introduction of final products.
• Effectively manage multiple projects ensuring clear alignment of goals and deliverables with the needs of the business and the marketplace.
• Work effectively with a cross-functional team including chemists, analytical scientists and process technology.

Qualifications:
The following are required for the role

• Bachelors degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years lab experience with paint/coatings formulation and testing.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn relevant skills quickly and constantly improve.
• Have passion, enthusiasm, and positive attitude.
