About Prescient Analytics Prescient Analytics, a Prescient Healthcare Group business, is an integral part of Prescient\xe2\x80\x99s client offering. The team consists of disease, functional and market experts responsible for ensuring that the depth, breadth and timeliness of our secondary data analytics is best in class. The Prescient Analytics team provides our client-facing Intelligence & Insight and Advisory teams with immediate access to relevant public domain intelligence.
About the Opportunity As a Research Analyst, your time will be divided as follows:

• 80% on conducting secondary research and analytics and maintaining data repositories
• 10% on building and maintaining knowledge assets
• 10% Coaching and mentoring of the analysts

You will be responsible for supporting the data gathering, analysis and insight creation across your specialised disease area. The Research Analyst position requires an understanding of the evolving biopharmaceutical market and trends. Knowledge of drug development and commercialisation is also required.

• Reporting: You will report to a Research Manager within Prescient\xe2\x80\x99s India office.

Key Responsibilities

• Secondary Data Analytics: Source, analyse and report published information, be it scientific, clinical, commercial, corporate or regulatory with
• Analysis and Reporting: Independently gather/analyse data, and generate insights around it to create deliverables and daily alerts that deliver a linear, evidence-based story on the topics in focus with no/minimal supervision from a senior member of a team
• Maintenance of Knowledge Assets: Build data repositories linked to specific therapeutic areas, market dynamics and regulatory dynamics
• Task Management: Plan and execute data research and analysis under the guidance of other members of the Analytics team
• Internal Communication: Collaborate with members of own team and other Prescient business teams to ensure effective data and insights delivery
• Subject Matter Expertise: Develop subject matter expertise in the assigned therapeutic area

Required Experience and Skills

• One or more of the following degrees in the life sciences: MTech (biotechnology or related areas); MPharm; MSc/MBA combination
• 3-5 years of professional experience focused on oncology and/or immunology and/or biosimilars
• Confident communication skills to work effectively with global colleagues and contribute to deliverables and daily alerts
• Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to contribute value-added insights to available information
• Understanding of drug development and commercialisation processes
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Fluency in English
