Responsibilities * Track the automobile and related sectors (commercial vehicles, tyres, auto casting, freight transport) and publish research reports, dashboards, and updates.

• Conduct primary and secondary research to analyze market trends, demand-supply balance, investments, and regulatory changes.
• Evaluate the financial performance of automobile companies and forecast quarterly results and sector outlooks.
• Prepare industry presentations, thematic reports, and articles for clients and conferences.
• Maintain and update industry databases and research platforms with relevant insights and parameters.
• Analyze the impact of policy changes, acquisitions, or other developments on industry performance.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, respond to research queries, and deliver actionable insights on time.
• Ensure adherence to research processes, timelines, and quality standards.

Requirements * Postgraduate degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, or Business.

• 2-5 years of experience in industry research, business research, or financial research - preferably within the automobile sector.
• Deep understanding of automobile market dynamics, including commercial vehicles and auto components.
• Strong analytical and quantitative research skills with attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of financial concepts, forecasting, and data interpretation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• A curious, proactive mindset with the ability to think beyond the obvious and work within tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and research databases will be an added advantage.
