The Multi-Industry Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment across a wide range of sectors including Manufacturing, Industrial, Production, Hospitality, Airlines, Travel & Tourism, Hardware, Chip Design, Embedded Software, Banking/Finance, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, and Clinical Research. This role requires strong sourcing strategies, excellent candidate evaluation skills, and the ability to manage diverse hiring needs while partnering with hiring managers to deliver quality talent within deadlines.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle Talent Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment for non-IT, non-Healthcare, semi-technical, and technical support roles across multiple industries.
Understand complex job requirements related to manufacturing operations, hospitality service roles, airline ground/flight staff, hardware testing, chip design support, financial services operations, pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing, and clinical research roles.
Write and post job descriptions tailored to industry-specific hiring needs.
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
Build pipelines for high-volume, niche, and specialized roles across various sectors.
Utilize job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, Naukri, Monster), Boolean search, employee referrals, networking, and industry-specific groups.
Engage passive talent through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
Screening & Shortlisting
Review resumes to identify relevant experience aligned with industry-specific functional skills.
Conduct screening interviews to assess candidate competencies, cultural fit, compliance requirements, and technical/non-technical expertise.
Evaluate candidates for:
Manufacturing & Industrial operations
Production line and assembly skills
Hospitality service standards
Airline/aviation-specific certifications
Travel/tourism knowledge
Semiconductor support, hardware validation, embedded systems basics
BFSI domain knowledge
Pharma, biotech, GMP, GxP, quality & regulatory roles
Clinical trials & research support roles
Interview Coordination
Schedule interviews with hiring managers and coordinate assessments or tests as required.
Support panel interviews, technical interviews, and functional evaluations.
Offer & Onboarding Support
Drive offer negotiations, compensation discussions, and offer rollouts.
Coordinate pre-joining formalities, background checks, medical clearances, and onboarding activities.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with department heads, plant managers, operational leaders, hospitality/aviation managers, R&D teams, BFSI stakeholders, and pharma/clinical HR teams.
Provide regular recruitment dashboards and insights to leadership.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate and organized data in the ATS.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, airline standards, GMP/GxP, safety regulations, and industry-specific hiring rules.
Track hiring metrics (TAT, offer-to-join ratio, pipeline progress).
QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
2-6+ years of recruitment experience across at least 2-3 of the mentioned industries.
Experience handling high-volume and niche recruitment.
Experience working with ATS platforms (Zoho Recruit, iCIMS, Workday, etc.).
Skills & Competencies
Strong sourcing, screening, and stakeholder management abilities.
Knowledge of industry-specific hiring trends and job competencies.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle multiple hiring domains simultaneously.
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven hiring (GMP, GxP, aviation, BFSI compliance, PHI/GDPR, etc.).
Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
