Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Strategy & Planning



Develop and execute sales plans to achieve MSME segment targets. Identify new business opportunities within assigned territories or industries. Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine sales strategy.

2. Business Development



Generate leads through various channels -- networking, cold calling, industry events, and partnerships. Build and maintain strong relationships with MSME clients and key stakeholders. Negotiate and close business deals ensuring profitability and long-term client satisfaction.

3. Team Management



Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales executives or relationship managers. Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of individual and team targets. Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and performance evaluations.

4. Customer Relationship Management



Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive relationship management. Resolve client issues and coordinate with internal departments for timely service delivery. Maintain a strong customer retention strategy.

5. Reporting & Analysis



Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis. Track and report key business metrics including sales pipeline, conversion rates, and market share.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in MSME segment. Strong understanding of MSME ecosystem, credit products, and financial solutions (if applicable). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to lead and motivate sales teams. Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred). 5-8 years of relevant sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. Experience working with MSMEs, Working Capital, Term Loan, Over Draft, Banking or financial institutions is an added advantage.
